Beautiful back-to-back beaches near the ancient city of Durrës

Located one after the other along the coastline, Currila Beach and Kallm Beach are definitely among the most well-known sun and sea spots in Durrës. Their proximity to the city make them a favourite location for both visiting tourists and locals. Currila Beach (currila in Albanian means “stream”) is more populated and lively, while the beach of Kallm (suitably named!) is preferred by families for its quiet atmosphere, and the relatively shallow water depth.
