Albania remains a land of unbounded beauty, one that offers talented artists and photographers like Klajd Papadhimitri plenty of material to play with. 

The gorgeous sceneries by Albanian photographer and film director Klajd Papadhimitri are all captured in various regions of Albania. Yet, his uniquely romantic lens produces such exotic captures that the iconic Albanian landscapes could very well be ones from the distant lands of Africa or Latin America. It may be because Papadhimitri focuses his gaze on the essential elements of earth, water, air, and fire.

The cinematographic element is always present. Simple, at first glance, the photos capture not only the ever spectacular Albanian landscape but they make the latter serve as the house of a blazing sunset or the reflection of the sun’s rays on the glistening sea surface, as the habitat to both people and ancient trees, and as the setting of the perfect warm spring breeze.
