In the last three days, Albania entered the increasing list of countries affected by the Coronavirus, now officially a pandemic.

The country has taken all the necessary precautions and safety measures in this vital hour in order to limit the spreading of the virus. The situation with tourist who find themselves in Albania during this time can become complex if the number of infected people were to increase (23 at the moment).

A group of Austrian tourist, who plan to stay for the entirety of their planned trip in the country, a total of six days, confess that they are not nervous about the situation. “There are cases in Austria, as well,” they said “so, we will plan to stay here until Sunday.”  

The tour guide states that the group of thirty has entered the Albanian border through Muriqan. They will take the necessary sanitary precautions and continue on their trip to Saranda before they return to Shkodra.
